From Survival Mode to Feeling Safe
From Within
When Your Nervous System Stays On High Alert
Trauma does not stay in the past. It lives in the body, soft tissues, and nervous system as protective patterns.
You may notice tension even when nothing is wrong. Sleep may feel light or inconsistent. You may understand your history and still find your body reacting as if a threat is present.
You may have gained insight and tried different approaches, yet your system remains vigilant.
In our work together, we stay close to what is happening in your body and nervous system. We listen for how protection shows up and respond with steadiness and care.
These responses developed for good reasons. Healing happens when the body is included—when what has been held can begin to soften.
What Becomes Possible
Over time you may notice:
Less bracing in your body
Deeper, more restorative sleep
Tension in areas like the jaw, chest, or hips beginning to release
More presence in relationships, even during conflict
More space between what happens and how you respond
Greater presence and ease
What sessions may include based on your needs:
Sessions are 50 minutes and move at a pace your system can integrate.
We begin by listening—making sense of what you’re experiencing and how your nervous system has adapted.
From there:
We support your system in building more safety and steadiness
You learn simple ways to stay present beyond sessions
Gentle somatic work supports the release of held tension
Protective parts are met with curiosity to help resolve core wounds
Over time, your system becomes more flexible. Difficult moments feel more workable, and you have more choice in how you respond.
